It’s going to be dark at the Shoreline of Infinity, but only for a short while.

Ye Gods, what a fantastic couple of months.

At the end of January we gently announced Shoreline of Infinity is open for submissions. We were thrilled, delighted and dead chuffed when stories appeared, and more so as the word spread (thank you, you many word spreaders out there), and more stories dropped into our laps. Not a day has gone by now with multiple submissions.

This means that our plan of responding within a reasonable amount of time slowly turned to cinders in the flames, and so to anyone who has not heard yet, we say – woops, sorry.

We are reading each and every tale, and we will get back to you.

Now we are gathering words and pictures and creating Issue 1 ready for release in June. We are a small team at the moment and while there are still only 24 hours in a day (and only 23 on Sunday, darnit) we are going to concentrate on that.

So we’re going to have to gaffer tape up our inbox so that we can finish reading the stories we have and put the magazine together.

But only for the month of April. On 1st April we will switch off our submission form, and we will reopen on 1st May.

We have received some great support from folk all over the world, and if this turns into readers, then Shoreline of Infinity will grow.

So, hang on if you have a story to present to us. Take the opportunity to give your piece a final polish and bring it back to show us in May.

Watch our Twitter feed, join our mailing list, pop along to our website and we’ll keep you up to speed.
