Shoreline in the Wild

We had only our second foray into the real world yesterday. Edinburgh College of Art hosted a fund-raising craft fair, and I thought it was a good chance to set up a table and see how it went.

Assistant Editor Monica Burns came down from Dundee to help, and we set out our wares. That’s Monica behind the  table.

Seeing all the issues so far on display like that, and with our first publishing project The Elements of Time, made us realise how far we’ve come in just over a year.

And that’s Sara Julia’s artwork on the banners.

We’ll be doing more of this in the months to come. It’s a great way to meet new folks, new readers, new writers and artists. Makes a change from staring at a screen from dawn to, er, dawn.

So hello to everyone who popped up for a look-see, a chat and who took away a magazine.

Come along to our next one at Novacon in Nottingham on 11th to 13th November, and back in Edinburgh for the Festive Toy and Comic Mart  on the 26th November.
