Event Horizon moves through time and space…

Alas, we can no longer hold our monthly Event Horizons at Deadhead Comics as the shop is moving to a cosier space across the road. So Event Horizon is having to shift. We’ll still be keeping our links with Deadhead.

So what’s happening?

We’re moving to a different time: the first Monday of the month. The next one is on Monday 4th April 2016.
We’re moving to a new space: The Blind Poet, 34 West Maitland Street, Edinburgh. This is two doors down from where Deadhead was and opposite where Deadhead Comics is.

Yup, we’re moving to a room with a bar, food and comfortable chairs. It’s a great space and we’ll be moving in for our first event on Monday 4th April – so put that in the calendar now.

We’re going to miss the Deadhead Comic shop. Gaf is a brilliant host, and the atmosphere has been great every time, thanks to everyone who came. But we move onwards and next door.

The Blind Poet is perfect for us: there’s a wee stage for our musical doings and readings, and there’s a projector and screen for our visual goings-on. We’ll be featuring Jo and her delightful table of merch, and Russell is even now scouring the crevices of the Internet for more high-class jokes.

We’ll retain the same format: 7.30pm start, short sets, the raffle, live art, and ably supported by Deadhead Comics.

But from now on, we’ll also be finishing with a science fiction film to take us to the end of the night.

So come along, bring friends, to a monthly session of Edinburgh science fictional happenings at the Shoreline of Infinity’s Event Horizon.

Monday 4th April, The Blind Poet.
