The next Event Horizon is on Monday 1st August, at the The Blind Poet, West Nicolson Street, Edinburgh. 

This month it’s a mammoth double bill of massive talent with:

Jane Yolen  has been called the Hans Christian Andersen of America and has written over 300 books.She has written children’s books, fantasy, science fiction, and she is an acclaimed poet. Her awards include .

His epic new Space Opera trilogy, The Corporation Wars, has just been released beginning with The Corporation Wars: Dissidence. We review the book on our site  and you can read an interview with Ken and a critical essay on his latest book in the Shoreline of Infinity 4 

We’ll have music from the magazine house band, Painted Ocean, and Russell Jones will be MC’ing with his usual style, panache and great humour.
