Event Horizon 6 – at the Blnd Poet, 4th April

Deadhead flyers EVENT_H6 (1)
The next Event Horizon is on Monday 4th April, at the The Blind Poet, West Nicolson Street, Edinburgh. This is two doors down from where Deadhead was and opposite where Deadhead Comics is. Start time, as usual, is 7.30pm, so come along and sample the fine beers, wines, spirits and ginger beer.

We will have copies of the freshly published Shoreline of Infinity Issue 3 available on the night, so come along and help us celebrate its publication.

We’ve also got:

  • music from the Dan Collins Band
  • poetry from Colin McGuire
  • The ‘Arcturus Voyagers‘ from Napier University talking about their exciting publishing project (the word ‘free’ might be mentioned)
  • And we will presenting a prize to Dee Raspin, the winner of the Short Story Competition for Readers we featured in issue 1 of Shoreline of Infinity.

Plus the raffle, banter and Russell Jones‘ famous bad jokes: he is training at a secret Jokes Camp as we speak. And did we mention the beer?

To finish off the night we will be showing the original Ghostbusters to get you in the mood for the upcoming sequel.

So help us celebrate Things Science Fictional at our new Event Horizon home, the Blind Poet.
