We’ve not been idle here at Shoreline of Infinity. We have two publications coming out in the next few weeks, and you can pre-order them now.
Biopolis: Tales of Urban Biology is a companion to last year’s release, Scotland in Space, and this time writers and scientists combine to tackle the future of the urban landscape as it come alive. For good or ill, of course.
Umbrellas of Edinburgh is a glorious collection of prose and poetry celebrating lives and places Edinburgh. This was originally published by the late Freight Books, but Shoreline is delighted to be able to bring it back out into the light and on to the bookshelves. It’s not science fiction, but Russell Jones, our Poetry Editor and Events Manager, is one of the co-editors so we make the rules.
We have a couple of live events which’ll entertain you most royally: writers Rhiannon A Grist and Ely Percy talk parallel universes and following that we are delighted to host an Event Horizon on video games and SFF, organised by Ruth EJ Booth and Russell Jones.
Both events are online live. Tickets are free/donation.
If you have missed any of our events, they are available as ‘catch-up’ on our website at Shoreline of Infinity Event Horizon Online or via our Youtube channel.
